A Breath of Fresh Aeration
Aeration is the process of removing cores or plugs from the lawn to allow water, oxygen, fertilizers and other nutrients to penetrate the soil and better reach the roots of your lawn.
Aerating can also help in breaking up thatch buildup in lawns. When lawns become heavily compacted, the roots are deprived of air and water which are necessary for the growth of grass. Aeration should be done at a minimum of once per year, but twice can be even more beneficial for the health of your yard.
